Sophie Agapios (pronounced Ag-ab-ee-os) comes from the Greek. Sophie meaning ‘wisdom’ and Agapios ‘to love’. She is the second girl in family of 5, 4 girls and a boy born to a Greek-Cypriot father and an English rose mother. Growing-up Sophie loved having a big family as it proved to be very grounding, having to share stuff and look out for each other the whole time. Having 3 sisters means she has great girlfriends with unquestionable loyalty.

Like many typical Cypriot families, Sophie's family are real entreupenuers. There are a variety of family business; including a small 13th Century Hotel which all the sisters help run and will feature in Sophie’s 'Rockumentary' currently in production. Sophie knew her journey and the whole project was a one in a lifetime experience so her sister Alice recorded it all on camera. It will certainly make for interesting viewing – watch out for the scenes where she is cooking in the Hotel kitchen.....
