Hi Everyone!
Happy New Year.
Here’s what’s happening with me in the next couple of
months. I will be showcasing my new material at The Bedford in South
London. Watch this space for times and dates. Steve is now jokingly
referred to as ‘hop-a-long’ but is making great progress
on his road to 100% fitness after his accident. As ever my No. 1 champion,
he has joined forces with Label Manager: Phil Knox-Roberts from the
Instant Karma label. Together they are creating synergy to take me
onwards and upwards. Never has “Reach for a star and you never
know what…” sounded so true!
You can also become
my ‘friend’ by
checking me out on www.myspace.com/sophieagapios. As
you know the Internet is the hottest and sometimes only way for emerging
Artists to get their music out there. Steve recently promoted the UK
No. 1 hit by Nizlopi – ‘The JCB Song’ which rose
to prominence mainly via the Web. Squeaky Records and I are embracing
this and my new album will be available to download as well as in the
usual format.
Steve and I talk all about
this in an upcoming weekend edition of The Independent due
out early February 2006.
See you soon,
Lots of Love

Winter 2005
Hi Everyone !
Its been a rollercoaster year both for me and the world around
us it seems, so I cannot wait for 2006 to start when I can finally
release my second album and get on the road and see you all. Hope you
have a wonderful Christmas and New Year, I shall be celebrating at
home with family and back in 2006 with a vengeance. Look forward to
seeing you soon.
Lots of love

Autumn 2005
Sophie goes to Mexico on holiday, turns green from eating Guacamole for breakfast,
lunch and dinner and meets Robbie Williams whilst getting hammered in Los Angeles.
Summer 2005
Once again Sophie is back in LA – any more visits and Sophie is
sure to be on first name terms with US immigration officials! She is
working hard on new material, writing specifically for TV and Film soundtracks
and hustling anyone and everyone to get them placed. Not all of the old
chemistry was there on meeting up again with her old producer Robert
Cosio, but happily the end result was these cracking tracks, namely, “Forgive
Me” and “Don’t be the One”, recorded when the
A/C was on the blink and the temperature hit 110o. Click on the Sophie
Music/Media section to get a sample of the new tracks…..and
please be sure to write a review on the Message
Board. Sophie reads them all !
One awful and unexpected event that occurred whilst Sophie was in Los
Angeles was the serious car accident that her manager, Steve Betts was
involved in. Despite his terrible injuries he is making a grand recovery
and we wish him well.
Spring 2005
Sophie is holed up in the studio down in deepest, darkest
Surrey working with a new publishing company Diablo. She has written
2 fantastic new songs “Find Me” and “Sleepwalking” which
we have hurriedly sent off to our LA music contacts for possible inclusion
on any of the hit TV shows in the US. Fingers crossed for a result !
January 2005 - Sophie
in B Magazine! Check out our Star in the January edition.
Sophie is back off to LA! She will be recording her new single and
meeting with music supervisors. Watch this space for further updates on
her new material.

Philosophie !! The Malay, Thai and Indonesian people are some of the warmest
and nicest on this planet. My heart goes out to all who suffered in this
awful tragedy. I wish all my fans, friends and family a very peaceful
Christmas and an exciting New Year!” With love Sophie Agapios xxx

Sophie has a new Manager ! Steve Betts, currently MD of Radio Promotions, www.radiopromotions.co.uk was keen to get more involved with the day to day management of Sophie’s
career and Sophie herself felt he was the right person to take her to stardom!!
Not only does he have an immense network of colleagues and friends in radio
but from his 25 years at Warner Music he has a wealth of experience in dealing
with the biggies…namely Madonna, The Corrs and Simply Red to name but
a few. Sophie is thrilled Steve is now an honorary ‘Squeaker’.
“I am really pleased to have Steve working alongside me as my
Manager. My sister, Helen who has been managing my career so far has
decided to go to Hollywood to pursue her own writing career but will
still be running Squeaky Records from over the Atlantic. Thanks to my
fab sis for all her love, support and amazing hard-work…..small
acorns and all that and I look forward to the day when we can work together
on a joint project!” Love S.A. xxx
